Logistics Coordinator — Keep Operations Moving at ABECBe a key player behind what we build.At ABEC, we design and build equipment that supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing. As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials and systems move efficiently through our operation—keeping projects on track and customers satisfied.This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where your work directly impacts production timelines and delivery performance.Coordinate shipments & logisticsManage inbound and outbound shipments (air, ground, and ocean)Handle import/export documentation, including tariffs and harmonization codesWork with carriers like DHL and FedEx to ensure reliable deliveryManage inventory & material flowTrack inventory and movements using ERP systemsSupport Kanban replenishment through purchase requisitionsCoordinate shipments between: customers, manufacturing teams, subcontractors, and other ABEC locationsEnsure accuracy & compliancePrepare key documents such as Bills of Lading (BOL), export documentation, and Shipper's Letters of InstructionEnsure shipments meet regulatory, weight, and dimension requirementsMaintain visibility on shipment status and update stakeholders accordinglyProblem solve & improve processesResolve transportation and logistics issues as they ariseManage freight claims from start to resolutionIdentify and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunitiesLook for ways to make processes more efficient and effectiveCollaborate across teamsWork closely with: manufacturing, quality, and supply chain partnersContribute to cross-functional efforts focused on execution and resultsWhy this role is excitingDirect impact — your work keeps projects moving and customers satisfiedFast-paced environment — every day brings something newProblem-solving focused — you'll be trusted to figure things outOpportunity to improve processes and make a real differenceCollaborative team environmentWhat you bringRequired:2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environmentsExperience with international shipping and documentationFamiliarity with DHL, FedEx, or similar carriersStrong ability to manage multiple prioritiesProven attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate across teamsPreferred:Experience with ERP or logistics systemsExposure to Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six SigmaForklift certificationKnowledge of overhead crane usageDOT, IATA, or Hazmat certificationsWho you areYou're someone who:Enjoys a hands-on, fast-moving environmentTakes ownership and follows throughIs organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-drivenLooks for ways to work smarter and improve processesWhy ABEC?At ABEC, you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, problem-solving, and doing things right.
